About Noel

I'm a retired Master Distiller with over 30 years of experience in the Irish whiskey industry — most notably with Cooley Distillery and later as the founding distiller at Powerscourt Distillery. Now, in retirement, I enjoy putting my lifelong passion for hands-on work and DIY to good use by helping others with practical tasks around the home.

I have decades of experience in home improvements, including full attic and garage conversions, timber flooring, decking, and all kinds of furniture assembly — from wardrobes and beds to lockers and complex flat-pack systems. I take pride in doing a job right the first time, working efficiently, cleanly, and with care.

I've completed Manual Handling and Safe Pass, with a strong awareness of health and safety standards. Whether you need something built, repaired, or fitted — I'm happy to help.
