Attic ladder (electrical motor) - Repair/replace

Description

we have an attic ladder with an electrical motor attached to it. The motor seems to be switching on but not working to open/close the ladder. Its of NIDEC brand. See photo. I need to get the motor checked, fixed or changed with a new one. Need get done by this week. We may even considering removing the motor and making it a manually operated.

Ah ok, sounds like it's either stuck or burnt out. I'd have to see it physically and test it to know for sure. I'll put an offer in for now and leave it with you. Best Regards Damien

@Damien . Its an old house and we bought/moved in 3 months ago. The motor never worked. Seems to be on, but doesnt work
