Hi, I’m having an issue with noise coming from the upper floor when walking. I think it might be due to loose floorboards or carpet fitting. I’m planning to replace the carpet and would need help with:• Removing the existing carpet• Checking/fixing any loose boards or squeaking• Moving and reinstalling the bed Could you please let me know if you can take this up and your availability? 2 bedroom n stairs n landing area 2 separate days will be required to do this job as one bedroom at a time Thanks

@Conor H. Thanks, I understand the idea of replacing the subfloor, but the noise is mainly footsteps when someone walks and not that severe I’d prefer to first try fixing it by lifting the carpet and properly securing the existing boards, and using a good underlay to reduce sound.
Could come in today or tomorrow and then maybe next Saturday or Sunday
I think it would be a good idea to change the whole upper floor subfloor to osb or ply
