Earth wire in wall socket seized . No electricity in that socket or other socket in same room as result of circuit being closed off .. Also need pull switch for shower to be replaced

Are you sure it's earth wire is the problem? Did you remove the socket and see the wires? Or did someone tell you that?
Always use a Registered Electrical Contractor because if anything happens to you or your house by a unregistered electrician they would be liable
It would be smart move to call an electrician
