I need someone to repair part of my floor that was damaged by water (around 1m², see photos). The damaged area is near the kitchen. It’s most likely engineered wood flooring, but I’m not 100% sure, so I’d need the you to confirm. The repair should: - Match the existing floor and thickness. - Remove and replace the damaged section so it blends in with the rest. Location: Drumcondra, Dublin Looking for someone experienced who can supply the materials and do the job.
@James L. I appreciate the detailed investigation, but unfortunately, we don't have a budget for that.
Zac is right, way better off replacing the floor completely.
I'm going to send offer so you can accept it and send me your number
It would be evening time if that is ok
@Dillon C. Thanks, mate! What time would you like to come by to take a look and measure up?
Thanks Hale, How many square metres is the wooden floor area? You need a new floor your very unlikely to find a match.
@Zak N. Hey! Yes, the leak is fixed and no we don't have matching flooring.
@James L. I’ve added more photos of the flooring overall. While the floors appear faded and may look damaged, the water damage is limited only to the shared area.
Mate I could pop out and and have a look tomorrow and measure up for materials I Fit and repair all flooring types herringbone plank floors glue down and laminated
Can you post a picture of the whole floor? It looks like the water damage has spread more than the highlighted area. It's very difficult to match new and old flooring like that. Even if it's the same type the new floor won't be aged etc.
Hi Hale, Do you have the matching flooring? And has the leak been fixed? Thanks Zak
