House Preparation & Surprise

Date: Wednesday, October 21, 2026 Arrival Time: 12:00 PM (Noon) Project Overview Thank you so much for helping me prepare a wonderful homecoming surprise! Your goal is to give specific rooms a fresh surface clean, change the bed linens, wrap two gifts, and arrange candles to create a beautiful, romantic ambiance before she returns. Timeline & Priority Checklist 1. Phase One: Surface Cleaning & Linens • Surface Clean Only: Please do a general surface clean, dust, and vacuum in the following three areas: • Bedroom • Living Room • Hallway (Note: No deep cleaning required, just an overall tidy and surface refresh). • Sheet Maintenance: Please strip the current bed sheets and remake the bed beautifully with fresh, clean sheets and pillowcases. • Trash Removal: Empty the trash bins in these rooms and take them to the outdoor bins so the house smells perfectly fresh. 2. Phase Two: Gift Wrapping • Two Gift Wraps: I have placed two specific gifts alongside the wrapping materials (paper, tape, ribbons, scissors) in the designated room. Please wrap these neatly. • Gift Placement: Once wrapped, please place the two gifts neatly on the display surface (e.g., living room coffee table or dining table). 3. Phase Three: Staging the Surprise • Candle Arrangement: Please arrange the candles beautifully and safely around the living room/bedroom setup. • Crucial Note: Please leave them unlit. For safety, I will light the wicks myself right before she arrives. 4. Departure • Pack away all leftover wrapping paper scraps, tape, and cleaning tools. • Leave the home tidy so the space is completely clear for the big reveal.
