@Andrew M. hi Andrew, are you still available to fit this insulation? Many thanks

@Andrew M. Morning Andrew - I think the issue is the fusebox and extensive wiring are in this cupboard, hence the consensus was to avoid the mechanical fixings and just stick it to the wall. As for the joins, I THINK the only joins will be at the corners (ie 1 large sheet of the insulated plasterbaord should almost exactly fit the main are being covered, so taping should be fine. If you want a picture or 2 let me know. Cheers

Hi Conor, the boards and fixings really, that is pretty much all I need onsite. Do you need the walls skimmed or are you planning on taping and jointing? I have rolls of tape so can leave the wall ready for whatever finish you're looking for.

@Andrew M. Hi Andrew Yeh will be going ahead with it I'd say. Won't bother with any of the moving of the fusebox etc, so just aim to do as good a job as possible with it where it is. I am looking at €130-odd for the boards alone (2 X https://www.goodwins.ie/products/xtratherm-insulated-plasterboard-73mm-8x4-ft.html?filter_set[]=1413,1419) plus whatever else is needed so will need to come back to you on price. What exactly do I need onsite to make it handy for you apart from the boards? Cheers

Hi Conor, I hope all is well, just touching base on this to see if you have any update on this job. Unfortunately there is not much you can do around the fuse box unless you where considering having a sparks lift it out of the way so the insulation is continued behind it eliminating the thermal bridge and then refitting the board back in place. Either way I can sort both for you. Andrew.

@Andrew M. Hi Andrew, will come back to you on this. No intricate spaces only issue is the wall in question includes the fuse box. Will just cut to fit around that but obviously compromises the insulation but this is a quick fix anyway inside a cupboard so may have to just live with it. Thanks
