The 3000x600mm length is fine for both apartments, the countertop end are a standard 870 mm high in both Chadwicks and B&Q. What is the thickness of the new countertop

@Patrick L. Patrick I've gotten two different sets of measurements. width of bench for both apartment appears to be 145 cm; depth of first alcove is 25 cm; depth of second alcove is 45cm. My understanding is that the oak bench used for the kitchen was gotten in chadwicks in Thomas Street I think the length is 3000 cm long - and 60cm wide; which if correct would mean one length should do both apartments. I will also need under the countertop white ends as fridge and dryer are c 60cm in depth give or take. One apartment was rented this evening - we will need consent to go in - second apartment is in the process of being rented - whites are being purchased. Do you know whether or not chadwicks do under the countertop ends like B and q Regards Frank

Thanks Francis, Oak worktop come in two sizes 3m x 620mm and 4m x 620mm. If it is for an alcove then the 3m worktop would most likely do. They range in price from €220 for a 3m x 620mm x 20mm thick, Or €240 for a 27mm thick. And €420 for a 40mm thick worktop all 3m x 620mm. To have it delivered would be €30. As it will not fit into my car/van. I don't know if this is any help to you. Thanks Zak

@Zak N. No cut outs. Just install two countertops - ie one length of countertop cut in two - I'm unsure if I'll have in one length. I'm not at the property - there are two small alcoves - and I want to put a countertop in each of them.

@Zak N. Hi Zak, I need a length of oak kitchen countertop purchased in Chadwicks Thomas Street to match kitchen countertop. Hopefully I'll have enough with one length to get two counters. There are no cut outs, I'm putting it into a small alcove to enable a small fridge and dryer go under it. I will need sides and a support structure put under the countertop.
