Install Ceiling Support Cable for L-Shaped Shower Rod. Job Description: I am looking for a handy person to install a ceiling-mounted wire suspension support bracket (Gedy brand) to fix a sagging L-shaped shower rod at the corner bend.The bathroom is upstairs and the ceiling is plasterboard/drywall. Because of the weight of the shower curtains, standard plastic wall plugs will not hold long-term. Requirements & Tasks:Securely mount the ceiling anchor point exactly above the bend of the shower rail.Thread and clamp the stainless steel suspension cable around the L-shaped rod to lift and level it out.Crucial: You must bring and use heavy-duty hollow-wall plasterboard anchors for a secure, long-term fit. I require either GripIt anchors (Yellow or Red) or Heavy-Duty Metal Toggle Bolts / Snaptoggles rather than standard plastic plugs.The decorative chrome cap on the Gedy bracket must be refitted neatly over the anchor plate once installed. I will order the Gedy suspension cable kit (link shared below), so I will have the core product ready for when you arrive.
