My kitchen extractor hood (Klarstein chimney hood) recently fell because it was not installed into proper structural support. It had been fixed only into plasterboard and the screws pulled out. I need someone experienced to reinstall it correctly and repair the wall area so it looks neat and sealed again. Scope of work: • Install proper structural backing support (timber or suitable mounting solution) so the hood is safely secured • Re-mount the extractor hood using the correct bracket/fixings • Reattach and align the chimney cover • Ensure the duct connection is secure • Repair the damaged plasterboard area around the vent/duct • Patch, fill and make the wall around the hood look clean and finished Ideally someone with experience installing kitchen extractor hoods or kitchen fittings. Photos attached showing the current situation. Please bring necessary tools and fixings.
@Robin F. I’ve added a photo of the top of the cooker. Is that the bracket?
@Robin F. Not sure if there’s brackets. The guy originally just installed it directly into the dry wall
Can u repost the 1st pic taken from far ..trying to understand where is the damaged and will it get hidden behind new cookerhood or not ..also what type of new cookerhood u want
