Yes, to do it the way you want (changing from two separate taps to one mixer), you would need to buy a new sink and also buy the tap separately. If you’re happy to cover these costs, that’s fine. The price will depend on whether you choose a budget or a more expensive option, so it’s best to look in a builders’ merchant and choose there. I don’t know the exact prices for the sink and tap. For my work (removal and installation), my price would be at least €100. If that works for you, we can discuss it further.
