I need help installing two Ring security devices, with the job most requiring removing a current doorbell and attaching two camera using approximately 9 screws total. Both units are already fully set up in the app. This is purely a physical mounting job. 1. Ring Battery Doorbell Pro • Mounting surface is a wooden doorframe • Requires attaching the included bracket with four screws • Doorbell then clips into the bracket • The old wired doorbell needs to be removed (two screws) and the old wires capped or tucked safely behind 2. Ring Spotlight Cam Plus (Battery) • Camera is already set up and connected • Mounting surface is wood • Two possible mounting locations, both shown clearly in a short video I can provide • Installation requires four screws into a wooden surface • No electrical wiring needed What I’ll provide: • Both Ring devices with brackets and screws • Video showing exact mounting locations for each device • Access on the day and any tools required if you prefer not to bring your own Looking for someone reliable who can pop by and do a straightforward fitting job.
@Thomas K. Hi Thomas, Thanks so much for the quick reply and the offer. This all sounds great. The only thing I want to double check is the old wired doorbell on the frame. It just needs to be removed and the existing wires made safe or capped off. If that’s all okay with you, I’m happy to go ahead. Thanks again, Rob
Available tomorrow and Wednesday & Thursday and weekend
@Dylan M. Hi Dylan, Thanks a million for the quick reply. I had a look through your reviews and they’re brilliant, people clearly rate you really highly. Just to double check, would you be comfortable removing the old wired doorbell and capping off the little live wire behind it? It’s only two screws and a tiny cable, but I want to make sure you’re happy with that part. On the price, would you be able to do it for €100? It’s all very straightforward on the day, brackets and screws into wood, and both Ring units are already fully set up in the app. Thanks, Rob
