Above our bathroom door was a glass panel that has been removed and a wooden board has been placed on. We are needing tiles fitting in this space (we have matched the tiles as closely as we can). Possibly needing plastering of the area beforehand to make it level with the other tiles. Also likely needing removing of the small tiles just above and to the side of it to make it look right.

@Sean H. Thank you. Are you able to skim/plaster if that's needed too? Can you remove the tiles around that area so that wall is all the same?
