Hi Ian, I think the cheapest option for you is to get a charcoal filter for the fan. They cost about €20. And block off the hole in the wall with expanding foam just in case you want to use it again in the future. Just change the charcoal filter every year. Thanks Zak

@Zak N. It doesn’t as the vent in the wall is too low down. I think it requires a new wall vent
