Panelling and exterior wall with timber slats

I have an external wall measuring 2.05 m x 5.26 m that I would like to affix horizontal wooden slats to with 5mm between each one up to just marginally above the height of wall. The planks I have purchased are 2x1" and are just over 4m long.

I have plenty of pictures of slatted fences I have done in the past also flexible to do it any day of the week after work or anytime on weekends
Im sure I can get the fixings for the buttons if that helps
