Remove floating shelves

Description
There are floating shelves in an alcove, between the fireplace and the wall. I would like to remove two of them but I've had difficulty trying to get them out.
Yeah that's what I mean maybe a little I can plaster so dont think job is for me
@Conor W. Side walls are solid/concrete. What damage do you think could occur? I'm thinking a repaint and some plastering might be needed, is that what you mean?
Possibly two screws underneath but could damage side walls taking them out

Did you checked might have screws underneath two of each shelves
