repair leak under shower

Hi james I know it has been sealed a few times before as its an ongoing problem. Could you give me a rough idea of cost and if ur available thank you

Or potentially a weeping joint on the pipework supplying the shower. Either way a hole will need to be made in the ceiling to find out

Hi Tricia, given the small wet area I'd imagine that the waste pipe has failed. My suggestion would be to go up through the ceiling, that section of plasterboard will need replacing anyway. It should be possible to replace the waste from underneath. No need to lift the shower tray but I would recommend renewing the silicone seal around it.

Hi sorry for delay in posting pics as tenantvwas away . I had called plumber originally and he said shower tray would have to come up but he hadn't time to do it. Thank you

Is it a bath tub or standing shower? Any pictures of shower tray pls
