@Garrett D. Hi Garrett, I added the photos showing pipe going into wall. There may be some gaps and holes inside to fill as well. Im not sure but basically thats it. Please see 3 new photos attached. Thank you.
Perfect Donna, can you ask your daughter for one more pic at the wall please, where the current ducting to going into. Thanks.
@Garrett D. Hi Garrett Yes basically thats it, Im not sure what the irish building code is but are the semi flexible ducts good or is a ridget duct better. This apartment is 30 years old and maybe building code has changed since for kitchen ducts. We can pick up parts that you may need but let us know. I'm in canada at moment but my daughter's is there at apartment and I can send you her details if you think you can do that. Thank you, and have wonderful Christmas...
Hi Donna, sry for delay... so your looking to replace the ducting from the top of extractor to the vent there. No need to head outside, they are attached to inside part of the vent inside the kitchen, if you get me. Is this what you want so we're all on same page
@Garrett D. Hi Garrett, I added an overall photo of exhaust over cabinet and from balcony you can see the outside grill covering the fan. Hope this helps..
Can you add some more pictures, can piece together from there then. Step back to see scope of kitchen, especially from extractor to outside then. Def more pics will help on getting to see what you have.. thanks
@Garrett D. No its an apartment and it high up im not sure how you would get out to it. Possible I need new duct attachment to fan and then to the grill thats on outside of hole. Im not sure, im looking for someone that knows about this. Thanks for your quick reply.
Have you got the ducting already. Is there access to to exit point of that ducting. As in, it runs from the extractor along top of wall units to the vent. Is it boxed in or clear access
