@Patrick L. Hi, good morning. The area is - 1.92m x 5.7m. Have to do tiling on the top surface and both vertical faces. I’m happy to go ahead.

A day will do it. Buy tiles of your choice just bring a photo with you. Try Tile style in Ballymount. Can you send ne dimensions of the patio area. Also buy floor tile cement and 40 kG of post mix and 10 kg if tile grout.

@Ciarán M. Ok. I agree. Can we put a steel mesh and put cement?

Ciarán M. one year ago

Yes that could be done. But you'd have to remove 3 to 4 inches off the block and remove the same amount of hard-core. Then build a timber base and lay the composite on top. That'll cost a lot more than just concreting the base

@Ciarán M. What are the other options? Can I put composite decking on top of that, without concreting the inside area?

Ciarán M. one year ago

For tiles you'll need to sort that hard-core base with concrete

@Ciarán M. Tiles. I have limitations to increase height on that floor.

Hi. What do you want laid? Tiles or slabs?

@Constantin B. Thanks. Are you interested in taking the job?

you can't tile so you have to do the concrete surface right first then tile ... at least that's what I would do for myself
