Install 5.5m Channel Drain Against House Wall

€170

Description

I need a reliable handyperson or tradesperson to install a 5.5-meter linear run of plastic channel drain (ACO style) along the back wall of my house extension. The hardcore is already in place and compacted (sitting 10cm below the door threshold). This job needs to be completed before the main patio crew arrives so the concrete has time to cure. The Job: Protect the wall: Lay a 10mm expansion foam strip (supplied) against the rendered house wall to act as a barrier. Bed the drain: Hand-mix concrete (3:1 sand/ballast to cement) and lay a 50mm bed. Set the 5.5m of channel drain into it. Level it: The drain must be laid perfectly level along the wall. The top of the grates must sit exactly 2mm below the door threshold. Haunch the sides: Pack concrete up the patio side of the drain, leaving the top 50mm free for the future paving mortar. What I Will Provide: 6 x 1m plastic channel drains, end caps, and outlet connector. All mixing materials (sharp sand/ballast and cement). 10mm expansion foam strip and duct tape to protect the grates. Water and power access. What You Need to Bring: Wheelbarrow/mixing tub, shovels, Your own tools (good spirit level, rubber mallet, tape measure, and a handsaw/grinder to cut the plastic drain to length). Timing: Hoping to get this done early next week. Please reply with your quote, your experience with this type of work, and your availability. Thanks!
