Laminate floor has lifted slightly at the front door and is making the door very difficult to open/close. The metal threshold/transition strip appears to be holding the flooring. Need the flooring released/trimmed and the strip refitted so the door operates normally.

Hi Ruta I can also come and do this for you im 15 mins away from adamstown
Hi there, I can fix this for you. This is a common laminate expansion issue at the door threshold. I can remove the metal strip, trim the laminate to create an expansion gap, and adjust the door if needed so it opens/closes freely. I have all tools needed and I am available this Saturday morning at 7:30 AM. I am based in Dublin. Could you let me know if the door is catching on the top of the laminate? Thanks, Catalin
Unless you go and buy as close a match as possible to the current colour the bowed bored wont be able to be used again
@Ronan F. Flooring was done over 6 years ago, we do not have replacement boards, would you have any other options? Thanks
Is there skirting board on wall or beading covering the floor The flooring wasnt left enough expansion gap at the walls and bowed
