Hi, I'm looking to get a small walk-in wardrobe made in an existing alcove in one of the bedrooms. I've attached a photo and a suggested layout to give you an idea of what I'm thinking. The alcove is quite deep and has a raised section over the stairs, which needs to stay. I'd like to make use of the whole space by putting a timber frame and a pair of panelled doors across the opening, with hanging rails and possibly a few shelves inside. It's a 1930s house and I'd like the doors and surrounding joinery to be in keeping with the original doors in the house. Ideally I'd prefer timber rather than MDF. I'm not looking for a full fitted wardrobe system, more a straightforward job with well-made doors and practical hanging space inside. Would this be the sort of work you'd take on? Happy to arrange for you to come and have a look and give me a quote. Thanks!
