@Paul M. Thank you
Ok. Woodies, B&Q or large builder providers would have these paving slabs
@Paul M. Thank you very much Paul. I will look for the slabs and might get back to you .
Length of your new shed is 157cm, best to even it to 160cm for convenience purposes, 160cm ÷ 40cm = 4 slabs 88cm wide = 90cm ÷40cm = 2.25 slabs = best to get 3 slabs wide. Total 12 paving slabs, average price is about maybe 5 euro each slab =approx 60 euro total.
Standard paving slabs are 40cm x 40cm by 4cm thick.
What was the old shed made of?
Ok. You can look at the VidaXl site for your shed and it shows the dimensions for it. The length is 157cm long x 88cm wide In total. So you need to get paving slabs that are at least those area. You can ask in the hardware shop or some garden centres for them and they will tell you how many are needed and the size they sell. Best to contact them first. I'm not sure if you can collect them yourself as there will be a lot of if you want them to deliver. But I'm not sure if they will be able to deliver to you tomorrow as it's short notice but ask them anyway, they will probably charge for delivery
@Paul M. It’s a grass . And there is 4 concrete blocks that were under the old shed . Let me know if I need to buy the slabs ( if you think that’s suitable) as I don’t have any.
Dorota what is the ground like where the shed is going? Grass or clay? Just lay the paving slabs down on the grass and usually they will be ok. Then sit the shed on top of them
Like Paul said maybe slabs but would around the outside of the base not just inside. Concrete base as well.
@Garrett D. Have you any idea what could be used to create a “floor”?
@Paul M. I understand. Have you any idea what I would need to create some kind of “floor “?
Maybe paving slabs but they have to cover the whole area of the shed
Don't think blocks will work with this as it has no bottom as such, so sitting it on grass will be hassle afterwards for you. Needs solid structure for even doors to close easily .
@Garrett D. I have no plan . There is an old shed that will be removed . It was put on some concrete blocks.
Are you putting it on a base first or what's your plan.
@Paul M. Glanmire
Dorota where in Cork are you? City or county? Don't say your address but the general area
