I need to install skirtings in my apartment. There are no old skirtings to be removed. You need to install skirtings in all rooms except bathroom and boiler room, including architraves around the doors. I would also request you to procure the materials. No Ciaran I would get it delivered as that cost NOTHING!!! And I never said the glue and pins were free. They just weren't costing €150 to €200 like they cost you. And getting it delivered saves me on diesel. You getting it delivered wouldn't save you as much. Seems horse feed isn't as expensive. So why don't you saddle on up ride on down to TJ's. Won't you look a pretty sight with the skirting and architrave strapped to your horse as you ride off into the sunset cowboy!! Yee Haw...
And you'll collect them for free with your free van with free diesel. Like I said learn some maths and stick to your lane.

@Ciaran It's €23 for 5.5m of Skirting, It's €13 for 5.5m of Architrave, And unless you use gold pins that cost to much to carry in the van. Screw pins and glue are all thing you would keep in the van ALL the time.
And if you maths is as good as your quotes he's really in trouble ;) stick to your lane and leave the carpentry to the carpenters

If you can get 6inch mdf chamfered skirting at 5m lengths and 4inch mdf architrave the same lengths + Adhesive and pins you let me know. 13lenghts of each. Do let me know. You muppet. Let's hear your quote otherwise mind your business
@ Ciaran Do you have a 40%+ mark up on materials?
Could you post a few pics of access? The outer hallway and stairwell? Materials alone will be around €650-€700
@Ciarán M. This is second floor, might be able to pull it in from the balcony or from the center of the stairwell, but will be tight
Is there room to get 5metre lengths of skirting in?
@Ciarán M. - Architrave for 7 doors. One door needs architrave on one side only as the other side is fully tiled - Approx 64 linear meters, you can check the planimetry for more accuracy - On street parking in front of the building.
How many sets of architrave are needed? How many metres of skirting? And what is parking like?
