I'm looking for an experienced labourer to prepare and level my backyard for the installation of artificial grass. Job Details: Location: Ashbourne Area: Approximately 38–40 sq. m. Access: Side entrance to the garden Timeframe: Flexible start date, but the work must be completed within two days. Scope of Work: 1. Excavate and remove the existing top layer of soil to the required depth (the old lawn has already been removed, with only a few weeds remaining). 2. Build and install a timber border frame using wooden planks. Lay and secure a weed control membrane over the prepared ground. (I will provide the timer planks) 3. Transport hardcore and sand from the driveway to the garden (approximately 15 metres). (3 Tons of Hardcore and 2 tons of Sharp Sand) 4. Lay, level, and compact the hardcore and sand sub-base ready for artificial grass installation. Requirements: Previous experience preparing sub-bases for artificial grass is preferred. Must have your own tools and equipment, including: Wacker plate / plate compactor Spade Wheelbarrow (preferred) Other necessary hand tools If you have experience with artificial grass groundwork and are available, please get in touch with your availability, relevant experience, and a quote.
