Fit electric socket outdoor

€200
Task Assigned

Description

I live in a newbuild the builder has provided a armoured cable from the fuse box (not sure if it’s actually connected)to outside to a hard standing for a shed. The cable was to provide power for outdoor lighting and a socket(s). I would like this cable to be connected to the fuse and an outdoor power socket for running gardening equipment and a power socket inside the shed. Not sure about the outdoor lighting. It all depends in costs which I don’t have a clue on so waiting to hear from anyone interested

@FATIH I. Hi, apologies for the delay in getting back to you. I actually live in Kildare and was at my daughter’s house dog sitting whilst she was away. My husband is going to speak with her later today to establish exactly what she wants and then you can go look at the job and tell us what we need to get.

@Alan T. Hi Alan, I have just spoken to my husband and he said we would need the armour cable fitted to a MCB. From there a socket inside the shed and one out side for the robot lawn mower charging point. I have no idea on cost so put the cost as an estimate

@Alan T. I believe it is in an amour cable outside and runs to the fuse box but is not connected to the fuse box. There is a shed which we would like a socket in and a robot lawnmower that needs a plug

Hi Jackie, is the cable at the board? Do you need an MCB as well as an outdoor socket?
