Replace bottom step of stairs

Hi! So the bottom step of my stairs is comically large for no good reason. (See pics one and two) I’d love to have it replaced with a regular sized step, and will need the laminate flooring around it filled in (I can source the exact flooring). The second two pics are examples of this being done in two of my neighbour’s houses in the same estate. Thanks a mill!

Hi, I can come tomorrow morning at 8am to replace the bottom stair step with a regular sized one and fill in the laminate flooring. I have all tools and experience with stairs and flooring jobs. Please have a look at my profile for reviews and previous jobs. Thanks, Catalin
