1. Seal the Outer Eaves (The Front & Back Pitches) "I need the narrow gaps where the roof slants down to meet the outer walls blocked off. Use 6mm galvanised steel wire mesh or stainless wire wool shoved tight into the joist ends, sealed with expanding foam, without blocking roof airflow." 2. Block the Hollow Block Walls "Check the cinder block party walls on both sides of the attic. Any open voids or hollow block tops need to be packed tightly with stainless steel wire wool and capped with mortar or pest foam." 3. Mesh the Accessible Floor Bays "Lift the loose insulation boards, lay 6mm wire mesh across the joists (stapled to the timber edges), and place the insulation boards back down neatly on top so it fits tightly between joists." On-Site Walkthrough required before you start work so you can confirm you understand the priority is physical metal barriers (mesh/wire wool), not just expanding foam alone.
