@Paul M. Hi Paul, so it isn’t actually the bathroom itself, it’s the hall way that leads to the bathroom, it’s concrete I believe with underfloor heating laid on top. It’s basement level and it’s only a couple of tiles causing the issue (I’m not sure why it’s not the full floor), and the issue I believe stems from the fact a decoupling matt wasn’t placed down when they were put in

Also is this bathroom on ground floor or upstairs?

Brian it depends on what sort of floor is under the tiles, is it timber or concrete?

@Sean H. (Sorry for all the questions) do you think if we do this and have them glued down, could it then be an issue if we then need to lift all the tiles up to place the matt under. Ie could the tiles then be stuck and unmovable. Just trying to weigh whether we need to do the bigger job with decoupling matt now or if there is a temporary solution

@Sean H. Ok thanks and do you think it’s okay putting the adhesive on top of the underfloor heating without a decoupling matt?

@Sean H. Hi Sean, yeah so we are currently renting this house out, when we spoke to a tiler they said we would need to take up all the tiles on the basement level to put down a mat under the tiles. As this is quite a big job we are looking for a temporary solution while it’s being rented. If it is just two tiles causing the issue do you we could put adhesive under them and re grout ? There’s no leaks. Thanks

The tiles need to be lifted and re-laid with adhesive and then grouted. You won't solve the problem by just grouting. Has there been any leak or water damage?
